It’s Intercollegiate Tennis Association Kick-Off Weekend and the NC State women’s tennis team has a busy weekend ahead at home.
The team will be hosting Rice on Saturday, Jan. 25 as well as Florida or Oklahoma on Sunday, Jan. 26 at the J. W. Isenhour Tennis Center.
The Wolfpack’s first match of the weekend will start at 2 p.m. on Saturday, followed by 10 a.m. or 1 p.m. match on Sunday.
One player the Pack needs to keep its eye on this weekend is Oklahoma’s freshman, Carmen Corley, who was just named Big 12 Player of The Week.
At the Miami Invite, Corley upset Selma Cadar of Miami in her first match at Oklahoma 6-2, 6-2.
Down in Florida, The Gators are currently picked to finish second in the SEC Preseason Poll.
The Pack is currently 6-0 and hopes to keep the streak hot with a successful weekend.
