The Wolfpack is coming off a doubleheader sweep of Elon and USC Upstate in its opening dual-team matches this past weekend.
Senior Alexis Galarneau is the No. 1 singles player for the Wolfpack and went 3-0 in singles and doubles competitions combined this past weekend. Junior Tadas Babelis is the No. 2 singles player for NC State.
NC State has defeated Michigan three times out of five all-time matches, but the Wolverines got the best of the Wolfpack in a match last year 4-1. Against Northwestern, NC State has won 5 of 9, including a 4-0 win against the Wildcats last season.
This will be Michigan’s first match of the season, while Northwestern will have one match on the regular season against Illinois State prior to hosting the Wolfpack.
