First year parking
Parking passes for NC State’s 2019 spring semester will be available for purchase beginning Wednesday, Nov. 28.
Student passes mostly range in price between $100 and $200. Employee passes vary more, with most costing from $120 to $504. Both are available for purchase online.
Students interested in purchasing a new pass or renewing an existing one will need their Unity credentials, vehicle make and model, license plate number, and a debit or credit card.
Starting this current semester, NC State has moved to a virtual parking pass system, meaning that there is no physical pass, but they are tied to license plate numbers. Additionally, passes are now sold on a per-semester basis.
NC State only has a certain number of available parking spots; therefore, only a limited number of passes are offered, sold on a first-come first-serve basis, also taking into account credit hours.
