Junior running back Nyheim Hines sprints to the end zone on Nov. 25, 2017 at Carter-Finley Stadium. Hines finished the game with 196 total yards along with 2 touchdowns in the Wolfpack's 33-21 win over UNC.
Bradley Chubb- Linebacker, Denver Broncos
After winning the Bronko Nagurski Award in 2017 for National Defensive Player of the Year, Chubb was drafted in the first round by the Denver Broncos. The Broncos are currently 2-2 for the season and with the help of Chubb, the team is well on its way to more victories. The outside linebacker has tallied a total of 10 tackles this season with 1.5 sacks.
Nyheim Hines- Running Back, Indianapolis Colts
Hines was drafted 104th overall in the fourth round by the Indianapolis Colts in the 2018 NFL draft. Hines made a name for himself during his time at NC State, combining over 1100 rushing yards and 12 touchdowns for the 2017 season. In four NFL games, he has totaled 54 rushing yards, one rushing score, 119 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
B.J. Hill- Defensive Tackle, New York Giants
Hill was drafted 69th overall in the third round by the New York Giants as a defensive tackle this past year. With the Giants starting this season off with a 1-3 record, Hill has tallied two sacks and seven tackles, three of which were solo.
Justin Jones- Defensive Tackle, Los Angeles Chargers
Jones has made a few appearances this season with the Chargers after being drafted in the third round. The Chargers hold a current record of 2-2 for the season after two tough losses to the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers. Jones has totaled seven tackles, two of which were solo.
Josh Jones- Safety, Green Bay Packers
Jones made his first NFL debut in the 2017 season when he proved his abilities with 56 total tackles and two sacks. Although Jones missed the first three weeks of the season due to injury, he did compete in the Packers’ win over the Buffalo Bills this week with one tackle.
Philip Rivers- Quarterback, Los Angeles Chargers
Rivers has been leading the Chargers to victory for 14 years. The Wolfpack alum holds the school record for most career passing yards with 13,484. A few of his most impressive seasons include 2008 when he scored 34 touchdowns with 4,009 passing yards. In 2010, Rivers had a career best of 4,710 passing yards and an average of 294.4 yards per game. This season he has totaled 1,156 passing yards with 11 touchdowns and a completion percentage of 68.
Russell Wilson- Quarterback, Seattle Seahawks
Wilson was drafted in 2012 when he began as the starting quarterback for the Seahawks. During his time at NC State he totaled 8,545 passing yards with 76 touchdowns. Wilson has produced 888 passing yards and seven touchdowns this season. He had a career best of 34 touchdowns in 2017 and a completion percentage of 68.1 percent in 2015. The Seahawks currently sit at 2-2 for the season and will face the Los Angeles Rams in their next game.
