A fire alarm went off in Talley Student Union on Tuesday morning, leading to an evacuation of the building. It is likely that the alarm was caused by dust in the smoke detector, and not a fire, according to Deputy Fire Marshal Kristen Boggs. The building is now safe for entry and the smoke detector will be replaced.
