Dozens of officers from the Raleigh Police Department responded to a scene Wednesday afternoon at the Lake Park Condominium complex at 1410 Collegiate Circle, near Avent Ferry Road.
The officers, being assisted by the North Carolina State Highway Patrol and the Wake County Sheriff’s Department were responding to reports of an officer injured, according to ABC11.
The officer, C.N. Chandler, has been released form WakeMed, according to WRAL. The suspect, Chijioke Kennedy Madueke, is still being treated for injuries at WakeMed.
