The NC State Police Department sent a crime warning alerting the campus community of an armed robbery that occurred shortly after midnight Tuesday morning in the Governors Scott Courtyard behind Kilgore Hall. According to the crime warning, the suspect displayed a dark gun and demanded the victim’s phone, but the victim was not injured.
The Governors Scott Courtyard is located behind Kilgore Hall on North Campus adjacent to Brooks avenue.
NC State Police described the suspect as a “young black male, thin build, wearing a red hoodie, dark sweatpants and having a bandanna across his face.”
