This year’s event features autograph signings from many of NC State’s various sports teams. Pawprint autographs will also be available from NC State’s two animal mascots, Tuffy and Tuffy II.
For music, participants can expect over 20 musical guests playing on three different stages throughout the day. This includes headliner We the Kings. We the Kings will start playing at 8:45 p.m. on the Belltower Stage. Lawn chairs and towels are permitted on the lawn adjacent to the Belltower for those not wishing to stand.
Silent Disco
Friday
8 p.m.-noon
At a Silent Disco, attendees experience a DJ’s set through headphones, not aloud, meaning that everyone dances to the same music but the room itself is silent. Last year’s event featured three different DJ’s and headphones provided allowed for wearers to switch between sets on the fly, allowing for the experience of three different concerts in one room with one crowd. This year’s event will be hosted in the upper basketball courts of Carmichael Gymnasium.
A huge crowd of students jam at Silent Disco in the Talley Ballroom on Friday, Aug 21, 2015. Everyone had a set of headphones and could choose from three different DJs to listen to.
