Sangeet Saagar A Cappella Competition

Ajay Thatte, a singer from Hum A Cappella, an a cappella group from UT Austin, performs with his group during Sangeet Saagar 2019 on Saturday, Jan. 19 at Stewart Theatre in Talley Student Union. Hum A Cappella won first place in the competition.

Sangeet Saagar is a South Asian a cappella competition that occurred on Saturday, Jan. 21 at Stewart Theatre in Talley Student Union. The competition features teams from various schools across the country. The proceeds from this year’s competition were donated to the Movember Foundation, a global organization that raises awareness about men’s health, particularly cancer and mental health.
