An Incredibly Empty Campus
The Brickyard, which is usually crowded as many students walk through it during their daily commute, remains empty during the extended spring break on Tuesday, March 17, 2020. NC State’s campus remains empty during the extended spring break and students with housing on campus were instructed to remain home after the conclusion of the break as dorms and most in person functionality of NC State has been deemed unsafe during the COVID-19 outbreak. Students have until Sunday, March 22, to gather essentials and leave campus till further notice.
