Zari attended the protest with friends Vivienne English and Blake Warren also from Waldorf School, an institution which did not penalize students for participating in the organized “walk out” in weeks prior. The protest called for “common sense gun reform” in the wake of the multitude of mass shootings that have taken place in the United States school system.
