The South-Asian socio-cultural organization Ektaa organized Oak City Revolution. It is the first ever Bollywood-Fusion Dance Competition to be held in Raleigh. Teams from eight different universities across the nation came to compete at Stewart Theatre April 2, 2016. All the proceeds from this event went to two different charities – Pratham USA and Teaching for Tomorrow.
