The NC State baseball team lost 7-3 to Florida State in the first game of the ACC Baseball Championship Tournament held at Durham Bulls Athletic Park on May 25, 2016. The Wolfpack held a 3-1 lead before allowing 2 runs in the sixth inning and 4 more in the eighth inning. Sophomore center fielder Josh McLain went 2 for 4 at the plate with 1 run and sophomore short stop Joe Dunand went 1 for 3 with 1 run.
