Kelly Lauren Cansler, an alumna of NC State, has her collection called "What is your addiction?" showcased at fashionSPARK. The fabric in the collection was designed by Cansler and printed locally with Spoonflower of Durham. The metal work, which was forged locally by hand, represents deep, emotional considerations when looking at addiction.
The eleventh annual SPARKcon takes place in downtown Raleigh from Sept. 15 18. SPARKcon featured 14 different creative outlets, called SPARKS, including the newly added litSPARK, which highlights alternative or innovative literary media.
