The titan arum, also known as the corpse flower, began to bloom on Thursday. The flower, standing almost 6 feet tall, will bloom and become almost 3 feet wide. The owner of the flower, Brandon Huber, named the flower Lupin, after the Latin word for wolf.
Lupin, a corpse flower housed in Marye Anne Fox Teaching Greenhouses blooms in front a crowd on Thursday, Sept. 22. Lupin was on display Saturday for spectators to see and smell.
