Convocation 2016

Sabrina Peverley, a freshman studying life sciences, receives an envelope containing her graduation tassel at the 2020 Convocation. Freshman Convocation was held at the PNC Arena on August 15, 2016.

Students, the NC State marching band, Chancellor Woodson and author of “Just Mercy: A Story of Justice and Redemption,” Bryan Stevenson gathered at PNC Arena Aug. 15, 2016 for the class of 2020 Convocation. The event concluded after students posed for a photo forming their graduation year on the floor of the arena.

The NC State band filled the floor as they played fight songs at PNC Arena on Aug. 15, 2016. First year students were on their feet at Convocation as they learned the lyrics from band director, Paul D. Garcia.
