Aquaponics Display in Talley

Mark Tulbert, associate director of NC State Live, looks at the aquaponics exhibit in Talley Student Union on June 29. 

The Recirculating Farms Club showcases its aquaponics display in Talley Student Union. The display featured a tank of tilapia whose waste was used to fertilize growing beds of spring greens. The greens are planned to be used in the 1887 Bistro. The club applied to present the display at the North Carolina State Fair.
