Football defeats Demon Deacons in Winston-Salem
NC State football overwhelmed Wake Forest 26-6 in a stellar comeback performance by graduate quarterback Brennan Armstrong. Given sophomore quarterback MJ Morris’ recent decision to redshirt, many Wolfpack fans were concerned about the state of the Pack’s offense, but Armstrong made it clear that they have nothing to worry about. The graduate student led the NC State offense to a season-high 268 total rushing yards.
On the defensive end, the Pack held the Demon Deacons scoreless through three and a half quarters, keeping up with the strong effort it’s put forth all season.
