No. 4 Louisville: 30-9 (19-2 ACC)
A sweep of Wake Forest for the Cardinals as they continue to dominate the ACC. Sophomore Corey Ray won the series finale in the most dramatic way possible, by stealing home with the game tied 5-5 in the bottom of the ninth. It was the second time that Louisville walked off for the weekend. Senior outfielder Mike White won Game 1 of the series on a walk-off RBI single as well. It is looking like the Cardinals will host a regional.

No. 12 Miami: 30-11 (15-6 ACC)
The Hurricanes lost two of three games to Virginia on the road. The Canes dropped close games on Friday and Saturday night before exploding for eight runs on Sunday to salvage the final game. The Hurricanes are another likely lock to host a regional.

No. 11 Florida State: 30-12 (14-7 ACC)
Sophomore infielder Quincy Nieporte started off the week with a bang, crushing a walk-off home run to sink No. 6 Florida and take the season series. The Seminoles carried the momentum to the weekend, sweeping Pittsburgh. Florida State is the final ACC team that is projected to host a regional by D1baseball.com.

North Carolina: 24-15 (10-10 ACC)
A rainy week cancelled two games and shortened a third, but the Tar Heels still managed two wins. The week began with UNC-Chapel Hill defeating High Point 1-0 in a six-inning rain-shortened game before the Tar Heels split two weekend games with Virginia Tech.

Virginia: 24-15 (9-12 ACC)
The Cavaliers took two of three from Miami after receiving a stellar outing on the mound by sophomore RHP Connor Jones (7 2/3 IP, one ER, 11 K) on Saturday. The Cavaliers snapped Miami’s nine-game winning streak on Friday night with a 5-4 win.

Notre Dame: 26-12 (11-10 ACC)
The Fighting Irish won two games against NC State but also lost one to the Wolfpack and Toledo. Notre Dame is 8-1 in their last nine ACC games to improve from 3-9 to 11-10 in the conference.

Clemson: 22-18 (11-9 ACC)
Clemson is one of the hottest teams in the ACC, having won five straight games including two wins over Duke this past weekend. Junior pitchers Matthew Crownover (7 IP, 1 ER), Zack Erwin (8.2 IP, 1 ER), Clate Schmidt (7 IP, 1 ER) and senior RHP Jake Long (6 IP, 1 R) delivering gems for the Tigers to lead the team to a perfect week.

Georgia Tech: 24-15 (9-12 ACC)
The Yellow Jackets traveled to Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts but forgot their bats in Atlanta. Georgia Tech scored just one run in three games and was swept by Boston College. The Yellow Jackets hadn’t been shut out all season, but succumbed to two shutouts in three games.

Wake Forest: 22-19 (9-12 ACC)
A gut-wrenching week for Wake Forest, who were swept by Louisville, losing two games on walk-offs. The starting rotation wasted strong bullpen performances and a clutch home run by senior outfielder Kevin Jordan.

NC State: 21-16 (9-11 ACC)
The Wolfpack won one of three games for the third straight series and have slid to fifth in the ACC Atlantic. Road woes continue to plague the Wolfpack, who received strong pitching performances from freshman LHP Brian Brown (6 IP, 0 ER, 2 H) and junior LHP Travis Orwig (4 IP, 1 ER, 2 H) but were unable to muster enough offense to win the series.

Boston College: 21-18 (9-11 ACC)
The Eagles continue to prove to be a terrific home team, winning five games at home, including a sweep of Georgia Tech. Sophomore RHP Mike King (9 IP, 1 H, 0 ER) earned his first win of the season in a complete game shutout in the Eagles 1-0 win over Georgia Tech. On Sunday, junior LHP Jesse Adams flirted with perfection for 6 2/3 innings before a single broke up the perfect game.

Virginia Tech: 19-21 (8-12 ACC)
The Hokies earned a split in two games versus No. 23 North Carolina this past weekend. Virginia Tech used a four-run sixth inning, powered by two home runs, to win Game 1 of the series. Earlier in the week the Hokies received late inning heroics from shortstop Alex Perez, who brought home the tying and winning run with an RBI triple in the top of the 9th inning in Tech’s 6-5 win over East Tennessee State.

Duke: 22-17 (5-15 ACC)
Two of the Blue Devils games were cancelled by rain and they lost the two that they did play to Clemson, 6-2 and 8-1. Oh well, there’s always basketball season.

Pittsburgh: 14-24 (6-15 ACC)
The Panthers were swept by Florida State in another miserable weekend for the Pitt program. Add in a mid-week loss to Kent State and you have an absolute disaster of a season.
