Boston College wasted little time getting an early lead Thursday night at Conte Forum, en route to an 82-65 win against N.C. State
The Eagles started the game off with a 20-9 lead and led 41-32 at halftime.
Even though Boston College would expand its lead to 13 points in the second half, State would dwindle the lead to six points with less than seven minutes remaining. Despite the scoring, the Pack couldn’t slow down the Eagles.
Boston College’s Tyrese Rice scored 32 points on 12-of-18 shooting and consistently made important shots.
For State, freshman center J.J Hickson led the way with 20 points on 9-of-12 shooting from the field.
The men’s basketball team has a quick turnaround with a home game against Clemson on Saturday at 3 p.m. Earlier this season, the Tigers pressed, and confused, the Pack in a 70-54 win.
