Raleigh police are investigating a death following a shooting that occurred before 9 p.m. at the Tienda Hispana Mi Barrio II on Western Blvd.
At about the same time, there as an unrelated shooting reported near the intersection of Star and Cross streets, according to an e-mail from Raleigh Police spokesman Jim Sughrue.
