Chancellor Randy Woodson has released a statement in response to the announcement today by the Attorney General that the federal government is ending the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.
Woodson said DACA students “remain a welcomed and valuable part of the NC State community” and that NC State administration would continue to work with the UNC System General Administration, elected officials and others to “encourage support for DACA students going forward.”
“No changes to our policies have occurred, and NC State will continue to support all DACA students to the fullest extent possible,” reads part of the statement.
