Coming off losses in three of four games dating back to Nov. 21, State bounced back Saturday at Reynolds Coliseum with a 79-60 victory over USC Upstate.
Led by freshman point guard Ryan Harrow, the Pack built a double-digit lead in the first half and maintained the cushion throughout the second en route to the victory. With 10 fast break points before halftime and several more highlight-reel moments after the break, the athleticism of the Pack’s talented trio of freshmen was too much for the Spartans.
Harrow led the way with a career-high 20 points and was joined in double figures by fellow freshmen Lorenzo Brown and C.J. Leslie. Brown also notched a career-high, with 17, and Leslie added 13.
