The NC State University Police Department released a safety notice Tuesday warning students of a man making unwanted advances toward students near Tompkins and Jordan Halls and D.H. Hill Library.
According to the notice, the man, Jeremiah Frederick, touches students on the head and/or on the hands or feet without consent.
Frederick is described as a black male who is 5 feet, 6 inches tall, around 160 pounds and was last seen wearing a tan Carhartt jacket and blue jeans. He is not an NC State student.
In addition, Frederick has had past offenses, including misdemeanor assault and indecent exposure in July and June of 2018, respectively. He also had court dates set for yesterday, March 18, for felony probation violation.
University police currently have a warrant for Frederick’s arrest.
