While NC State’s spring semester is coming to a close, the university will remain in operation for most of the summer, offering a variety of class sessions.
The three-week-long Maymester is the shortest schedule, with restructured courses for the shortened time. Most courses offered are GEP electives. Classes begin on May 15, and the last day of classes is June 4.
Summer Session I similarly starts on May 15 for both the five-week and 10-week variants. The last day of classes for the former is on June 18, while the latter will run until July 26. Final exams follow a few days later for each.
Summer Session II offers only a five-week variant starting on June 24, which also runs until July 26. Final exams will be held July 29-30.
More course options are available for the ten-week session than the five-week session. A complete course list can be found online.
