With a four-game winning streak for the Wolfpack, the men’s basketball team will be returning to PNC Arena to take on the Little Rock Trojans.
The Trojans sit with a 3-1 record so far this season, with a recent win against Central Arkansas and an upcoming game against No.16 Memphis, a tough team the Wolfpack will encounter on Thanksgiving.
Coming off two large wins in Reynolds Coliseum, the Wolfpack and fans are ready to see the squad back in PNC dominating. With redshirt junior forward DJ Funderburk fully back in action with the Pack, the team has had a couple games to play together and showcase its full potential.
While the upcoming game is not posing a large threat for the Wolfpack, it stands as another opportunity for the team to prepare for upcoming games.
With redshirt junior Devon Daniels coming off a career-high 23-point performance against Alcorn, the Pack will be looking to him to continue to get points on the board and improve.
Another player the Pack will be looking to is senior guard Markell Johnson, who has been recovering from injury and is slowing regaining his strength for the Pack, scoring a season-high 16 points in his last game against Alcorn.
Continuing to find its groove is essential for the Wolfpack. As Johnson continues to improve and become a key player for the Wolfpack again, NC State will pose as a large threat heading into larger games and more ACC play.
The Pack will take on Little Rock at 1 p.m. Saturday, back at PNC Arena.
