Men’s and women’s basketball will continue their nonconference schedule to begin the season. Women’s and men’s soccer have matchups in the ACC Championships this week, along with football playing its third-to-last home game.

Friday, Nov. 8

5 p.m. Women’s soccer vs. UNC-Chapel Hill (WakeMed Soccer Park)

A highly anticipated match for the Wolfpack after two straight wins against Louisville, one to finish the regular season and the other to advance into the ACC Championship semifinals. In Chapel Hill this year, the Pack took a 1-0 loss that it will be looking to avenge come Friday night.

Saturday, Nov. 9

4 p.m. Wrestling’s Wrestle-Offs (PNC Arena East Plaza)

The fans will be able to get an early look at the wrestling team this year before the football game Saturday, just outside of PNC Arena.

7:30 p.m. Football vs. Clemson (Carter-Finley Stadium)

With a two-game losing streak, it won’t get any easier for the Pack on Saturday, as it takes on the No. 5 Clemson Tigers, looking to gain some momentum heading into the final stretch of their season.

Sunday, Nov. 10

2 p.m. Women’s Basketball vs. UNC-Wilmington (Reynolds Coliseum)

NC State will have played one game before this against North Carolina A&T. The last time these two teams matched up was in 2016, in Raleigh, with the Pack downing the Hawks 86-54, as it leads the all-time series 5-0.

4 p.m. Men’s Basketball vs. Detroit Mercy (PNC Arena)

This will be the Pack’s first nonconference game of the year, as it opens up with ACC opponent Georgia Tech. The last time Detroit and the Pack faced off was in 2013, with NC State picking up a close 82-79 victory. The two teams have only played each other twice, with the Wolfpack winning both matchups.

Wednesday, Nov. 13

9 p.m. Men’s Basketball vs. Florida International (PNC Arena)

NC State will match up against the FIU Panthers in its third contest of the year. The two teams have faced each other twice in the past with a home-and-home series in 1990 and 1991. The Pack won both of these games.
