NC State will be a little quiet this week on campus as many teams have away games, but softball, men’s soccer and rifle have home games this week. However, the highlight of the week is Primetime with the Pack on Friday night.
Friday, Oct. 18
7 p.m. Men’s soccer at Duke (Durham, North Carolina)
Although it’s not at home, the men’s soccer team (7-3-2) will play against the Blue Devils (6-5-1) in Durham. The last match between these two teams was three years ago despite being conference rivals. With only four games left to play, the Wolfpack needs to continue to play to stay in a good spot for the playoffs in November.
8 p.m. Basketball at Primetime with the Pack (Reynolds Coliseum)
Fans are invited to Reynolds Coliseum for Primetime with the Pack. As tradition, both basketball teams and coaches will be introduced and will be followed by a shooting contest, skills challenge and dunk contest, among other events and activities.
Saturday, Oct. 19
10 a.m. Men’s club ultimate at Brickyard Brawl – Day one (Miller Fields)
The men’s club ultimate team is hosting the Brickyard Brawl this weekend, hosting 16 teams in a two-day tournament. NC State’s team, Alpha Ultimate, will play four games in a row starting from 10 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. Day two on Sunday starts at 9 a.m. with the championship game at 2:15 p.m.
11 a.m. Club baseball vs UNC-Charlotte – Doubleheader (Sanderson High School)
With a slight drive off-campus, the club baseball team is facing UNC-Charlotte in a Saturday doubleheader. The team will also have a nine-inning game against the same team at noon on Sunday.
1 p.m. Softball vs. ECU (Dail Softball Stadium)
Softball will finish its fall season with three games this weekend. The first will be against ECU. Last week, the Pack beat NC Central 14-0 at home and with many away games this week, this is a good game to catch at home.
Sunday, Oct. 20
8 a.m. Rifle vs No. 17 North Georgia (Reynolds Coliseum)
In rifle’s only home match of the season, NC State will face No. 17 North Georgia at Reynolds Coliseum. Rifle is 1-0 so far in the young season with a 4625-4487 win over VMI in Lexington, Virginia on Saturday, Oct. 12.
11 a.m. Club flag football vs UNC-Charlotte – Doubleheader (Lee Fields)
The NC State club flag football team is taking on UNC-Charlotte in its third game of the season. The Pack is 1-1 so far with a win over UNC-Chapel Hill and a one-point loss to UNC-Pembroke.
1 p.m. Softball vs. Wingate – Doubleheader (Dail Softball Stadium)
The softball team’s final games of the fall season will be a doubleheader against Wingate at home. Since the fall season is not an official season in softball, there are no playoffs, so this is the last game until the official spring season.
Tuesday, Oct. 22
7 p.m. Men’s soccer vs Elon (Dail Soccer Field)
The men’s soccer team will come back to Raleigh to play Elon (5-7-1) in the Pack’s last nonconference game. This is also a crucial game for playoff chances and is one of the few home games this week.
