With playoffs for soccer fast approaching and both basketball teams kicking off their season, there are a lot of exciting games happening on and around campus.
Thursday, Oct. 31
7 p.m. Women’s basketball vs. Anderson (Reynolds Coliseum)
The Wolfpack will be hosting an exhibition game against Anderson to open the season. This will be the first game that the exciting Wolfpack women’s basketball will play in front of an audience this season, and will kick it off for students to see.
Friday, Nov. 1
7 p.m. Men’s soccer vs. No. 3 Clemson (Dail Soccer Field)
Head coach George Kiefer and the men’s soccer team will take on No. 3 Clemson in Raleigh. Coming off a road loss at Syracuse, the Wolfpack will be back to play its final game of the regular season against a very tough Tiger opponent. The match is also senior day and will see those members of the team honored before the match.
7 p.m. Volleyball vs Clemson (Reynolds Coliseum)
The Wolfpack volleyball team will take on Clemson Friday night. After a tough loss on Sunday against Syracuse, the Pack will stay home to play Clemson in the third of four home games in this current stretch. The Pack is also looking to break a three-game losing streak.
Saturday, Nov. 2
10 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Club Flag Football – Battle of the Atlantic (Method Road Soccer Complex)
The Club Flag Football team will be hosting an eight-team tournament at Method Fields on Saturday and Centennial Fields on Sunday from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. The Pack will have two teams and will be joined on the field by Western Carolina, NC A&T, Princeton, UNC-Greensboro, Methodist and Carolina United.
Sunday, Nov. 3
1 p.m. Volleyball vs. Georgia Tech (Reynolds Coliseum)
The Wolfpack will be the last home game of this current stretch on Sunday. This will be the second to last home game, the last being against Pitt on Nov. 24. With such a long stretch between home games, be sure to come out to this one and support the Pack.
Tuesday, Nov. 5
8:30 p.m. Men’s basketball vs Georgia Tech (PNC Arena)
The Wolfpack will kick off the first official men’s basketball game of the season with a home game against Georgia Tech at PNC Arena. This match-up will be the first of two against Georgia Tech. This game will also be the first of six home games in a row. Buses will be running to take students from campus to PNC.
TBA Men’s soccer ACC first round (Dail Soccer Field)
Men’s soccer will host a first-round match of the ACC Championship on either Tuesday, No. 5 or Wednesday, Nov. 6. The Pack’s opponent for the match is yet to be determined but tournament games are always exciting and fun to watch matches.
Wednesday, Nov 6
7:00 p.m. Women’s basketball vs North Carolina A&T (Reynolds Coliseum)
The women’s basketball team will play its first official game next week at home against NC A&T. The last time these two teams faced was in 2007. The game will be in Reynolds and should be a fun time for students on campus to experience basketball.
