The NC State club flag football team will be in action this weekend as it hosts the inaugural Battle of the Atlantic tournament on Method and Centennial Fields at NC State.
NC State will be dressing both its teams, Team Wolf and Team Pack, and six other teams will be playing. Carolina United (local team), Western Carolina, MU Hitsquad (Methodist University), Princeton, Team 187 (UNC-Greensboro) and A&T’s Finest (North Carolina A&T) will all be in Raleigh for the tournament.
Saturday’s schedule will consist of pool play games for seeding purposes, and all the games will be held at Method Fields. Each team will play three games. All four teams in both pools will advance to Sunday’s single-elimination bracket play, and all Sunday games will be held at Centennial Fields on NC State’s Centennial Campus.
Team Wolf will play Carolina United at 11:15 a.m., Western Carolina at 3 p.m. and MU Hitsquad at 4:15 p.m., with all of its games being held on Field 2 at Method Fields.
Team Pack will play A&T’s Finest at 10 a.m., Team 187 at 12:30 p.m. and Princeton at 3 p.m. All of Team Pack’s games will be on Field 1 at Method Fields.
Bracket play will begin on Sunday at 11 a.m. on Centennial Fields, with the semifinal games starting at 2 p.m. and the championship game at 3:30 p.m.
