The Pack plays four home games this week, with one game just down the road in Chapel Hill. NC State athletics will take on Chapel Hill twice this week, with both the women’s soccer team and the women’s volleyball team facing them in heated matchups.

Thursday, Sept. 26

7 p.m. Women’s soccer at No. 4 UNC-Chapel Hill (UNC Soccer and Lacrosse Stadium) (ACC Network)

The first game of the week is an away game, but worth mentioning because it is in Chapel Hill, just around half an hour away from campus. The game would be a worthwhile trip, as it is a rival game, just the second conference game of the season, and the Pack is a solid 5-3-1. Meanwhile, Chapel Hill sits at an impressive 8-1-0 record, making for an exciting game. For students who cannot make the drive, the game is available on the ACC Network.

Friday, Sept. 27

6 p.m. Swimming Wolfpack Games (Willis R. Casey Aquatic Center)

The Wolfpack swimming team is hosting the fifth annual Wolfpack Games, where fans enter free starting at 5 p.m. and can take photos with and get autographs from the team until 5:45 p.m. This event also serves as part of Alumni Weekend, where former swimmers will be available to meet as well. On top of this, the ring ceremonies from the 2019 ACC Championships and the 2019 NCAA Championship titles will take place during the Swimming Wolfpack Games.

Saturday, Sept. 28

6:30 p.m. Softball vs. Louisburg (Dail Softball Stadium)

The Wolfpack softball team will take on Louisburg in its first fall game of the year in Dail Softball Stadium. In the spring, the softball team finished 31-27 and is bringing many new faces to help continue to push the program in the right direction. Meanwhile, Louisburg finished 38-11 but was just 11-7 on the road, making for a competitive game.

Sunday, Sept. 29

1 p.m. Softball vs. Longwood (Dail Softball Stadium)

The following day, the softball team is right back at it against Longwood in its second fall game of the year, also in Dail Softball Stadium. Longwood finished at 37-22 last spring but had a losing record on the road. However, Longwood plays in a more competitive division than Louisburg, which may indicate a tougher game for the Pack.

Wednesday, Oct. 2

7 p.m. Women’s Volleyball vs. UNC-Chapel Hill (Valvano Arena at Reynolds Coliseum) (ACC Network)

The 5-7 women’s volleyball team will end the week for NC State athletics on a rivalry matchup with UNC-Chapel Hill in Reynolds Coliseum. This match marks the first conference matchup for the Pack, against a 3-7 Tar Heel squad that is on a two-game winning streak. This is also the first conference match for the Tar Heels, who are currently 1-1 on the road while the Pack is 2-1 at home.
