In their sixth loss in a row and the final game of the season, the Wolfpack football team lost 41-10 against the UNC Tar Heels (6-6, 4-4 ACC). This loss brings its season record to 4-8 on the year, and only 1-7 in the conference.
Quarterback
Redshirt freshman quarterback Devin Leary threw the one and only touchdown for the Wolfpack, tossing a 39-yard touchdown to graduate wide receiver Tabari Hines. However, he completed just 7 of his 20 passes, a 35% completion rate. The seven completions went for 98 yards, but he had two interceptions in the second half, the first allowing the Tar Heels to jump ahead 13-10 after the Wolfpack went into the half ahead 10-6.
Redshirt sophomore quarterback Bailey Hockman entered the game in the fourth quarter, going 6 of 10 with one interception and no touchdowns. Hockman was never sacked, although pressured frequently by the Tar Heel blitz.

Running backs
Freshman backs Zonovan Knight and Jordan Houston were the main contributors to the rushing attack for NC State. Knight had 12 carries for 56 yards and also had one reception for 16 yards. Houston carried the rock eight times, racking up 62 yards, with an impressive 41-yard rush for the longest of the game for the Pack.
Sophomore running back Ricky Person Jr. was out with an injury once again after playing well at Georgia Tech. This proved to be a serious problem for the Pack, as one of its feature backs was out once again.

Wide Receivers
Only three wide receivers found their names in the box score with receptions, and could not contribute much to the offense of the Pack. Tabari Hines had the most receptions with seven, and ended with 89 total yards and the only touchdown catch.
Junior wide receiver Emeka Emezie had two receptions, one of which went for 30 yards, the other for 18. Redshirt freshman Devin Carter had one reception for seven yards, and was the third wide receiver targeted.

Offensive Line
Although it only gave up one sack, it was unable to stop the constant pressure from the Tar Heels. The big boys up front allowed two quarterback hurries and did not help in creating openings for the running backs. Not the worst game, but the line did not help the struggles of the Pack offense.
Grade: B
This game concluded the Wolfpack season. Overall, the Wolfpack offense provided decent support; six games had 21 or more points. The Pack could not find a reliable QB, though, and was plagued with injuries.
