A non-NC State student was shot at The Standard apartment complex overnight, according to a safety notice from the University. According to the report, the gunshot wound is not life-threatening.
University police reported the shooting was the result of a confrontation of about 10 Black and Hispanic men in an elevator at around 2:30 a.m. on Oct. 2, with Raleigh police investigating.
