Late on July 1, a train hit an unidentified man close to NC State’s campus, near Dan Allen Drive and Yarborough Street.
According to WRAL, NC State University Police said the man was walking alongside the track when he was hit. He is currently in serious condition and is being treated at WakeMed Hospital.
