Although this week is a little slow on sports, the games that are around campus this week are vital to each team. Wrestling takes on a fierce top-10 North Carolina team, while club hockey starts to wrap up its season at home.
Friday, Feb. 7
7 p.m. Wrestling vs. North Carolina (Reynolds Coliseum)
No. 3 NC State (12-0, 2-0 ACC) will take on No. 8 UNC (11-1, 2-0 ACC) for its second ranked match in a row out of three. The Pack is currently undefeated and only has three regular-season duels left. Last week, it faced No. 10 Pittsburgh and won 21-12 for a solid win. Though higher ranked, with the home advantage combined with multiple skilled wrestlers, including redshirt juniors Hayden Hidley and Tariq Wilson, NC State has a great chance of winning Friday.
9:30 p.m. Club hockey vs. UNCW (Raleigh Iceplex)
The Icepack (20-3) will face UNCW Friday for its last home game of the season on senior night. Its last game of the season will be at UNCC on Saturday.
