Andrew Brackman, former forward for the men’s basketball team, said at a press conference today he will not be playing basketball this season.
The 6-foot-10-inch junior from Cincinnatti, Ohio, said he will forgo the 2006-2007 season to focus on training for baseball.
“Playing professional baseball has been a big dream of mine ever since I was a little kid,” he said. “Because of that, I feel the most important thing for me is to be as prepared mentally and physically as possible for the draft.”
