Thursday evening a Wolfline bus hit the side of a car at the intersection of Varsity Drive and Avent Ferry Road at the entrance to Centennial Campus.
An officer on scene, who opted to remain anonymous, confirmed that one vehicle collided with a Wolfline bus.
According to the officer, no one was hurt in the accident.
The sister of the girl whose car was hit was waiting for a tow truck at the scene and also opted to remain anonymous.
She indicated that her sister is fine – “just a little shaken up.”
Sgt. Jon Barnwell of Campus Police said that according to the Raleigh Police Department, the “accident involved one bus and two to three other cars.”
He also noted that RPD said the bus was empty and none of the other people involved in the accident are affiliated with the University.
