Tom O’Brien’s weekly radio show will once again originate from a studio this week, Wednesday at 8 p.m.
But the show will move to the food court in Crabtree Valley Mall next Tuesday night, according to Wolfpack Sports Marketing general manager Brian Asbill.
Asbill said men’s basketball coach Sidney Lowe and O’Brien will have a three-week string of doubleheaders with their call-in shows at Crabtree starting Tuesday, Nov. 13. The other two double billings are set for Mondays, Nov. 19 and Nov. 26, Asbill said.
For those weeks, Lowe’s show will be at 7 p.m. and O’Brien’s at 8 p.m.
At the end of the football regular season, Asbill said Lowe will move into the 8 p.m. time slot with his show, which will continue to originate from Crabtree.
The plan all along was for Lowe’s show to be at Crabtree, while O’Brien’s started the season at Damon’s Grill near the RBC Center before the restaurant closed.
In addition, the Nov. 17 football game at Wake Forest has been scheduled for 4 p.m., and it will air on ESPNU. The team will be looking to beat the Deacons for only the second time in its last five tries.
