Football Lowery named one of ACC Players of the Week
After 10.5 tackles in Saturday’s win against Boston College, senior linebacker Patrick Lowery earned a spot as one of the ACC Football Players of the Week on Monday, according to the ACC.
Five other players were selected with Lowery getting the nod for the defensive line unit.
With the Wolfpack down 15-10 with less than a minute left in the game, the Eagles decided to try to go for a first down on fourth down. Lowery helped stop junior fullback Brian Toal and gave State possession of the ball with 46 seconds remaining.

The Pack scored on the next possession to win the game 17-15.
