Welcome back to NC State’s first ever video game podcast, The Joy of Gaming, exploring the world of interactive entertainment, one game at a time.
On this episode, we tackle two drastically different new games: Lost Planet 2 and 3D Dot Game Heroes.
Host Rich Lepore, Co-Host Tim MacNeil and returning special guest Jordan Alsaqa, have played Capcom’s latest third-person shooter “Lost Planet 2” both online and off, and have some interesting insights on both experiences.
In addition, the guys discuss the very Zelda-esque “3D Dot Game Heroes,” and discuss whether this homage to one of gaming’s greatest games is able to stand on its own.
The guys also discuss what games they have been playing recently, and share stories about gaming in general, as per the usual.
So tune in, zone out, and let yourself get swept up in The Joy of Gaming.
Music in this episode comes from Video Games Live founder Tommy Tallarico, Final Fantasy composer Nobuo Uematsu, and the Lost Planet Soundtrack.
