It’s another slow week for NC State home games, but you can still catch the Wolfpack football and cross country teams in action this weekend. 

Friday, Sept. 20

6 p.m. Cross Country at Adidas XC Challenge (WakeMed Soccer Park)

The men’s and women’s cross country teams will compete in the Adidas XC Challenge at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, North Carolina. The event will be the first race in a long season, where the No. 7-ranked women’s team will try to defend their ACC title and the No. 12-ranked men’s team look to build upon their impressive third-place finish in the ACC last season. The men’s 6K race will start at 6 p.m. and the women’s 5K will begin at 6:25 p.m.

Saturday, Sept. 21

7 p.m. NC State Football vs. Ball State (Carter-Finley Stadium)

The NC State football team returns to Carter-Finley Stadium this weekend to take on the Ball State Cardinals (1-2) in the first-ever meeting of the two programs. The Wolfpack (2-1) is looking to bounce back after a week three setback at West Virginia. 

This game is also a part of Parents & Families Weekend, a weekend filled with numerous activities for the whole family.
