Jasmine Cannon, a senior majoring in women’s and gender studies, addresses a group of her peers in Wolf Plaza on Thursday. “[We are] standing in solidarity with those who have been facing overt discrimination whether it be violent or mental or any sort of discrimination and haven’t been able to garner the support that they need from administration,” Cannon said.

Bush Presidential Center based on the campus of Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX and is the former United States Secretary of Education for the Bush Administration. She will take office on March 1, 2016.

Hunt was wrongly convicted in 1984 of the murder of 25-year-old Deborah Sykes, and while DNA testing proved his innocence in 1994, the appeal process took 10 years. The Innocence Project's message, Rosen said, "is not that there are angels out there waiting to be saved, it's that we don't know -- that this is an uncertain world." The event was part of the Park Scholarships Social Justice Series.

Brothers at Pi Kappa Phi loading furniture into their car in Fraternity Row on Wednesday night. The Tau Chapter of Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity at North Carolina State University has been suspended for three years following an investigation into a pledge book discovered last week containing racially and sexually offensive language, campus officials said Wednesday. The national fraternity revoked the chapter’s charter, and NCSU Chancellor Randy Woodson called for a thorough review of the Greek system on campus.

Justin Drust, audio director for the Virtual MLK project, explaining the technical work that he did on the project. Recording the speech was the first phase of the project, the second was the creation of a website and the third phase will combine the audio with a 3D rendering of the interior of the original White Rock Baptist Church.
