Three incidents of sexual assault were reported to NC State University Police on Friday, July 21. University Police sent out an official email to all of campus via WolfAlert the following Sunday, stating that the three incidents were perpetrated by male students whom the female survivors knew while they were at a party. The message also stated that University Police is continuing investigation of the reports.

The Hillsborough Street Corridor parking survey was released in August. The survey found that there is a high demand for more accessible parking on Hillsborough and on surrounding streets. According to Jeff Murison, executive director of Live It Up! Hillsborough, some solutions to the lack of parking issue may take a few years.

The event honors the contributions of the LGBT community at NC State in advocacy, producing change, and growing as individuals of the student population at N.C. State.

Carroll's Kitchen stands at the corner of Wilmington and Martin Street in downtown Raleigh on Tuesday, April 10. Carroll's Kitchen is a nonprofit restaurant dedicated to ending women's homelessness. The organization seeks to empower women through job training, life skills and housing.

The graduates recognized by the NC State University GLBT Center pose for a group photo at the 2017 Lavender Graduation in Talley Student Union Piedmont Mountains Ballroom. The Lavender Graduation began at the University of Michigan in the mid-1990s under the direction of Ronni Sanlo as their LGBT Campus Resource Center director. The Lavender Graduation is designed to create a space for GLBT students to feel supported by the university and affirmed in their identities.
